Custom Scan Headers adds extra HTTP headers, as name and value pairs, to scan traffic. They are sent in addition to the built-in <code>Chariot</code> header shown on the <a href="scan-header.md">Scan Header</a> card.
The card shows how many custom headers are configured, for example 2 custom headers configured, or No custom headers configured.
<h2>Who can edit</h2>
Only Praetorian can edit custom headers. On your account, the card's Edit control is locked with the tooltip Managed by Praetorian. If a target needs a specific header, for example a token that lets scans through a web application firewall, ask your Praetorian team to add it.
