Organization Details
The Organization Details section allows you to manage your organization's visual identity and basic information.
You can personalize your account by uploading your organization's logo, which will be displayed across the platform and in communications. Simply click the upload area or drag and drop your image file into it. If you need to remove an existing logo, you can do so using the Remove button, reverting to the default avatar.
Your organization's name is a key identifier that appears throughout the platform. When you need to update it, simply click the organization name field, enter your desired name, and save your changes. The system will automatically update all instances where your organization name is displayed.
Notifications
Managing notifications effectively is crucial for staying informed about your system's security status. The notification system allows you to receive alerts through various external integration channels. To begin receiving notifications, click "Add Push Notification" and select your preferred notification channel. The system will guide you through the integration process for your chosen platform.
Exposure Alerts
Exposure Alerts are a critical security feature that monitors and notifies you about externally exposed ports and services. These alerts are categorized as "exposure" vulnerabilities with corresponding severity levels and can be tracked through the vulnerabilities page. You can establish your exposure monitoring preferences through the "Add Alerts" option.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO functionality streamlines authentication for your organization's users. When you're ready to implement SSO, navigate to the dedicated section and select "Setup Single Sign-on". The configuration wizard will guide you through integrating your preferred identity provider, ensuring secure and efficient access for your team members. For more details on setting up SSO, see Chariot Documentation here.
Webhook Integration
The Webhook URL feature enables seamless integration between your systems and Chariot by allowing you to push assets and risks automatically. When you need to establish this connection, click "Generate URL" to create a unique webhook endpoint. This URL serves as the bridge between your systems and the platform. Detailed integration instructions are available in the "How to: Chariot Webhooks" documentation, which provides comprehensive guidance for implementing and utilizing webhooks effectively.
Whitelisting Details
To ensure our security assessments run smoothly, we provide specific whitelisting configurations for our scanning service. Each scan is assigned a unique header identifier, which helps your security systems distinguish legitimate scanning traffic from potential threats. This approach allows for comprehensive security assessments while maintaining your network's security posture.
Interface Preferences
Customize your application experience through our theme settings. The platform offers three display modes: system, which aligns with your device preferences; dark mode for reduced eye strain in low-light conditions; and light mode for traditional visibility.
Account Management
The account deletion process is available for cases where you need to completely remove your presence from the platform. This action permanently removes all your data from Praetorian servers, deletes login credentials, terminates active subscriptions, and removes all user access. Due to the permanent nature of this action, we recommend carefully considering this decision before proceeding.
