Domains

Manage domain seeds from Seeds → Domains.

Seeds → Domains is the domain seed list: approved, pending, and rejected domains Guard uses as discovery starting points.

Open Domains

  1. Go to Seeds → Domains.

Seeds page with Domains, CIDR Ranges, Preseeds, and Web Applications tabs (dark mode)

Add a domain

  1. Click Add Seeds.
  2. Select Network Assets.
  3. Enter the domain (for example example.com), one per line, or import XLSX, CSV, or TXT.
  4. Save. Pending seeds wait for approval; approved seeds start discovery.

Guard validates input on submission and reports malformed values.

Columns include status, identifier, registrant, and registrar. Filter to Approved if you only want active seeds. Enable Country in the column picker to show WHOIS registrant country.

Country column

The Country column is hidden by default. To enable it:

  1. Open Seeds → Domains.
  2. Open the column picker.
  3. Enable Country.

Entries with privacy-redacted WHOIS will not show a country.

Filter by country

  1. Open the Filters sidebar.
  2. Select one or more Country values.
  3. The table shows only domains whose WHOIS registrant country matches.

Country options on this tab are registrant country only — they do not mix with IP geolocation on the IPs tab.

Filter by tag or pending status

Open Filters and select Tags and/or Status → Pending. Pending shows integration- and import-origin seeds awaiting review. Machine-discovered pending seeds are not shown in the customer view.

On every login the tab initializes with Approved, then falls back to all seeds if none are approved.

Domain detail drawer

Click a row to open the drawer:

  • Domain Details — WHOIS registrant, registrar, contact email, origin
  • Domain History — WHOIS record changes, newest first
  • History — lifecycle (added, approved, frozen, rejected) with timestamps; manually added seeds show the operator username

Actions: approve, reject, delete, freeze, scan, tag, or add a note.
