Benchmarks

Insights → Benchmarks is where MITRE framework heatmaps live. Open Insights → Benchmarks, then choose a nested tab: MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND, MITRE EMB3D, NIST CSF, or FDA Premarket.

Open Benchmarks

1. Go to Insights → Benchmarks.

MITRE ATT&CK

The ATT&CK view shows your offensive posture — which attack techniques have been simulated and what the defensive outcome was for each.

A bar chart visualizes testing coverage across ATT&CK tactics. Below it, a heatmap table organizes every ATT&CK technique by tactic. Each cell is color-coded by defense outcome (Alerted, Detected, Logged, Monitoring, Prevented, Responded, Tested, Undetected, Untested). Guard aligns to MITRE ATT&CK v14.1.

MITRE D3FEND

The D3FEND view shows your defensive posture — what security controls are in place, how broadly they are deployed, and how effective they are.

Coverage breaks down across D3FEND tactics (Model, Harden, Detect, Isolate, Deceive, Evict, Restore). Each mapped control has a presence status (Not Implemented through Validated) and, when deployed, an effectiveness rating.

MITRE EMB3D

The EMB3D view addresses embedded device security (ICS/SCADA, IoT, medical devices) using the MITRE EMB3D threat model.

The view includes an embedded-device score, coverage by category (Networking, Hardware, System Software, Application Software), and a threat heatmap.

NIST CSF

The NIST CSF view scores your posture against the NIST Cybersecurity Framework functions: Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover. Each function shows a maturity score, subcategory coverage, and an optional target.

FDA Premarket

The FDA Premarket view tracks technical-safeguard readiness for medical-device premarket cybersecurity (FD&C §524B). It shows an overall readiness score, a category scorecard (Authentication, Authorization, Cryptography, and related controls), and per-control status.
