<p><strong>Source IP Addresses</strong> is how Guard's scanners present themselves on the public internet.</p>
<h2>Dynamic (default)</h2>
<p>When the card shows <strong>Mode: Dynamic</strong> and <em>Addresses rotate automatically</em>, scanners use Guard's rotating pool. This is the default. The <code>(Default)</code> hint appears when the static-IP flag is off.</p>
<h2>Static</h2>
<p>When <strong>Mode: Static</strong>, traffic comes from the documented range:</p>

<p>The card shows that CIDR with a copy button so you can allowlist it on a WAF or firewall.</p>
<p>Static mode is a tenant flag (<code>static</code> / <code>disable_static_ip_addresses</code>). The Organization tab also has a <strong>Static IP Addresses</strong> Praetorian-managed toggle; this Scanning card is the place that shows the live mode and the address to copy.</p>
<h2>Who can edit</h2>
<p><strong>Praetorian users only.</strong> Customer Admins can see the mode and copy the static range; they cannot open the configuration form.</p>
