Source IP Addresses
Whether Guard scans from a rotating pool or from the static 66.45.78.0/24 range, and who can switch modes.
Source IP Addresses
Source IP Addresses is how Guard's scanners present themselves on the public internet.
Dynamic (default)
When the card shows Mode: Dynamic and Addresses rotate automatically, scanners use Guard's rotating pool. This is the default. The (Default) hint appears when the static-IP flag is off.
Static
When Mode: Static, traffic comes from the documented range:
66.45.78.0/24
The card shows that CIDR with a copy button so you can allowlist it on a WAF or firewall.
Static mode is a tenant flag (static / disable_static_ip_addresses). The Organization tab also has a Static IP Addresses Praetorian-managed toggle; this Scanning card is the place that shows the live mode and the address to copy.
Who can edit
Praetorian users only. Customer Admins can see the mode and copy the static range; they cannot open the configuration form.
