AI Spend Tracking

How to view cumulative subscription-to-date and monthly AI spend in Guard settings.

The Settings > AI tab provides two spend cards that let you monitor AI usage against your subscription commitment and within the current calendar month.

Spend cards

Total AI Spend

The Total AI Spend card shows cumulative AI spend from your subscription start date through the current date. Use this figure to track usage relative to your overall subscription commitment. The card is positioned above the monthly card.

Monthly AI Spend

The Monthly AI Spend card shows spend for the current calendar month only. This figure resets at each calendar-month boundary. Use it to monitor near-term consumption trends.

Both cards include focusable info tooltips that describe exactly what each figure covers. The tooltips are keyboard-accessible: tab to the info icon and press Enter or Space to open.

Viewing AI spend

  1. In Guard, navigate to Settings.

  2. Select the AI tab.

  3. Review the Total AI Spend card for subscription-to-date usage and the Monthly AI Spend card for current-month usage.
