Overview

The Users page in PGP provides a comprehensive view of both authorized users within your account and organizations you're collaborating with. This page is divided into two main sections: Authorized Users and Collaborating With.

Accessing the Users Page

To access user management features, simply navigate to the Users page from the bottom left navigation menu after logging into your PGP account.

Authorized Users

This section appears at the top of the Users page and displays all individuals who have permission to access data in your Praetorian account.

Adding an Authorized User

Click the "Add User" button in the Authorized Users section.

In the modal that appears, enter the email address of the person you want to add.

Click Connect to send the invitation.

After submitting, this person will appear in your Authorized Users list. The user will receive a welcome email from PGP prompting them to sign in.

Important: The new user must enter their email address exactly as it appears above, including matching the capitalization (the email is case-sensitive).

The new user will then:

  1. Set a password
  2. Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) using an authenticator application
  3. Automatically gain access to the account they were invited to

Note: For information on managing SSO users, see the section below.

Viewing and Managing Authorized Users

In the Authorized Users section, you'll see each user's email address along with their role (displayed as "Collaborator"), the date they were added to the account, and a "Remove Access" button. To remove an authorized user's access, simply click the "Remove Access" button next to their entry.

Collaborator Access Process

When someone becomes a collaborator on your account, their existing sign-in credentials remain unchanged. To access your organization account, a collaborator should first sign in to their personal PGP account. They can then click the account icon in the top right corner to select your organization from the dropdown menu.

This dropdown will show your organization's name and logo if configured, or your organization's email address if the name and logo haven't been set up. The collaborator's personal account, labeled with their email address or organization name, will also appear in this dropdown.

Note: All users within the organization account share the same permission levels.

Managing SSO Users

When SSO is enabled for your account, users are managed through your SSO provider. You do not need to manually add users as collaborators (as described above).

How SSO access works:

  • Any user provisioned for PGP access in your SSO application will automatically have access to PGP
  • On their first sign-in, users will:
    1. Navigate to the SSO login screen
    2. Enter their email address
    3. Complete authentication through your SSO provider
    4. Automatically gain access to your PGP account

Collaborating With

This section appears below Authorized Users and shows organizations that have invited you to view their account details. When someone adds you as an authorized user to their account, their account will appear in this table.

Features

The Collaborating With section shows all organizations that have invited you to view their account details. When someone adds you as an authorized user to their account, their account will appear in this table. For each collaborating account, you can view vulnerability counts categorized by severity, including total counts and breakdowns for Info, Low, Medium, High, and Critical vulnerabilities. The table also provides the ability to export vulnerability lists to CSV format.

To access a collaborative account, click the account icon in the top right corner and select the desired organization from the dropdown menu. This will switch your view to that organization's account.
