AI Settings Tab

How to find and use the dedicated AI Settings tab in Guard, which consolidates all AI configuration in one place.

The AI tab is the dedicated home for all AI configuration in Guard. It is the left-most tab in Settings and the default destination when you open the Settings page from the navigation.

Accessing AI Settings

In the Guard navigation, select Settings.
The AI tab opens by default.

If you navigate away, return to it by selecting the AI tab at the top of the Settings page.

Praetorian Features section

This section groups the feature-level toggles that control how AI capabilities operate across your organization.

Toggle	What it controls
AI Inference	Enables AI-powered analysis and inference across Guard workflows.
AI Agents	Activates autonomous agent behavior within supported modules.
AI Autonomy	Controls the degree to which agents act without human confirmation.
AI Training	Allows Guard to use organizational data to improve model quality.

Enable or disable each toggle according to your organization's policy and appetite for AI-assisted automation.

Spend & Providers section

This section consolidates budget controls and provider selection in one place.

Setting	What it controls
AI Spend	Allocates the overall AI budget available to your organization.
Per-Scan AI Budget	Caps the AI spend allowed per individual scan.
AI Provider Preferences	Selects and ranks the AI providers Guard uses for inference.

Organization tab

Following this change, the Organization tab contains only organization-level controls: CIS Controls, Static IP Addresses, and Allowed Domains. AI settings are no longer present there.

Permissions

AI Settings are visible and editable by users with the appropriate administrative role in Guard. If you cannot see the AI tab or its controls, contact your organization administrator to verify your role permissions.
