Domains
Add domains as discovery seeds, review their WHOIS registrant and registrar details, and filter them by status, tag, or country.
Seeds → Domains lists the domain seeds Guard uses as discovery starting points, with their approval status.
Open Domains
- Go to Seeds → Domains.

Add a domain
- Click Add Seeds.
- Select Network Assets.
- Enter each domain (for example
example.com) on its own line, or click Import from File to load an XLSX, CSV, or TXT file. - Click Add Seeds. Pending seeds wait for approval; approved seeds start discovery.
Guard validates input on submission and reports malformed values.
Country column
The Country column shows the WHOIS registrant country and is hidden by default. To enable it:
- Open Seeds → Domains.
- Open the column picker.
- Enable Country.
Entries with privacy-redacted WHOIS do not show a country.
Filter domains
- Open the Filters sidebar.
- Select values for Status, Tags, Country, Registrar, Registrant, Email, or Origin.
Country values on this tab are WHOIS registrant countries. Status → Pending shows seeds from integrations and imports that are waiting for your review.
The first time you open the tab in a session, Guard applies the Approved filter. If no seeds are approved, the filter is cleared and all seeds show.
Domain detail drawer
Click a row to open the drawer:
- Domain Details — the WHOIS record: registrar, registrant, email, location, created, updated, and expiration dates, DNSSEC, WHOIS server, and contacts. If no WHOIS data has been collected, click Refresh.
- Domain History — WHOIS record changes, newest first
- Attribution — how Guard discovered the seed and its confidence score
- History — status changes with timestamps
- Notes — notes on the seed
Change a seed's status
Select one or more rows, then click Approve or Reject, or open More Actions to freeze, delete, or add a note.
