User Profile
Manage your picture, theme, password, 2FA, API keys, and email preferences from User Profile.
User Profile is your personal account page. It is not Settings. Settings is for the organization (scan, users, SSO). This guide walks you through opening User Profile and using each card.
- Click your avatar in the top right.
- Click User Profile.
The page title is User Profile. The heading is My Profile. This page always shows your account, even if you are viewing another tenant.
Profile and appearance
User Profile — display name and profile picture. Click the card to edit.
Interface Theme — System, Dark, or Light. Dark and Light override the operating system.
Vulnerability Grouping — Grouped or Ungrouped for the Vulnerabilities table.
Authentication
Authentication Method shows SSO Authentication, Local + Two Factor, or Local Authentication.
Set New Password — click Change Password. Hidden or disabled when the organization uses SSO.
2FA Method — Authenticator App with Change 2FA, and Recovery Codes with View Codes. Disabled for SSO. First-login setup is in Multi-Factor Authentication Setup.
API keys
Click Add API Key. Name the key and set an expiration (maximum one year). Copy the secret and ID immediately — Guard shows the secret once.
SSO users also use API keys for CLI and scripts. See PGP API Keys for CLI keychain and environment variables.
Notification preferences
Toggle email for security advisories, new vulnerabilities, health reports, unhealthy integrations, and collaborator invites. These are your inbox preferences, not organization notification channels on Settings.
