Guard Console v1.1 introduces a full visual refresh across every section of the console. The update establishes a unified design language that applies consistently to Seeds, Assets, Technologies, Vulnerabilities, Insights, and Settings.

What changed

Unified token system

All styling is now based on a concise g-* design token vocabulary. This replaces the previous mixed token set and provides a single, consistent source of truth for colors, spacing, and surface values throughout the console.

Source Code Pro

Inter is the new primary typeface across all prose, labels, and UI text. Source Code Pro replaces IBM Plex Mono wherever monospaced rendering is used (for example, asset identifiers and code snippets).

Consistent component primitives

Tabs, drawers, modals, checkboxes, dropdowns, and dialogs now use standardized component implementations across the entire console. This eliminates visual inconsistencies that previously appeared when moving between sections.

Restyled app shell

The navigation rail, tenant chrome, and account-type chip have all been updated to reflect the refreshed visual direction. The overall shell layout is unchanged; only the visual treatment has been updated.

Restyled Insights (Marcus) landing

The Marcus AI Assistant empty state now matches the updated dark layout used throughout the console. The conversations panel opens collapsed by default — click the panel header to expand it and view conversation history.

All top-level console sections are covered by this update:

  • Seeds — discovery scope management
  • Assets — inventory and detail views
  • Technologies — technology fingerprint views
  • Vulnerabilities — finding list and detail drawers
  • Insights — Marcus AI Assistant and reporting
  • Settings — account, integrations, and configuration

No workflows, data, or permissions have changed. The refresh is purely visual.

Frequently asked questions

Will my saved filters or configurations be affected? No. The refresh does not touch user data, saved filters, notification preferences, or integration settings.

Why does the Insights panel start collapsed? The conversations panel now starts collapsed to reduce visual noise on the landing screen. Expand it at any time by clicking the panel header.
