Seeds

The Seeds page is where you define the scope of your attack surface. A seed is a persistent digital asset owned by your organization. Seeds are the starting point for discovery in Guard.

The page has four tabs:

• Domains — Domain names Guard enumerates and monitors
• CIDR Ranges — IP addresses and CIDR ranges
• Preseeds — Auto-discovered candidates awaiting your approval
• Web Applications — Full application URLs for deeper testing

Add Seeds also offers Web Services for API definition URLs. Those seeds appear on Web Applications, not on their own tab.

Prefer stable resources. For example, use a domain name instead of an ephemeral cloud IP.
